A power purchase agreement — a long-term contract to buy electricity at agreed terms. Large data-center operators use them to lock in supply and price, sometimes for decades.
Data centers need steady output around the clock. Nuclear provides constant baseload generation, which fits that profile more naturally than intermittent sources without storage.
