AI Sector Watch breaks the AI supply chain into 18 parts and tracks each one — from chip design software through to the power plants keeping the data centers on.
Most AI investing coverage stops at a handful of household names. That is not where the money actually moves. A single AI accelerator depends on design software, a foundry, packaging capacity, memory, networking, connectors, a building, cooling, grid equipment and a power plant — and each of those is its own market with its own constraints and its own cycle.
This site maps all 18 of them, updated every trading day. The goal is that you can look at a sector, understand in plain language what it does, see how it is moving, and know which sectors it connects to.
We publish data and explain what it measures. We never say buy or sell, never claim a track record, and never describe a past number as something that “worked”.
No curiosity gaps. If we say a sector led the week, the figure is in the same sentence.
Any forward-looking figure is attributed to the analysts who produced it. We do not publish our own price targets.
Every Leadership Board edition stays online in full — every name, winners and losers alike. See the score history.
An automated pipeline pulls public market data on a schedule, computes sector and company figures, and publishes them here and to the newsletter. Every page carries the timestamp of the data it is showing.
Where a data set is not live yet — currently ETF holdings beyond each issuer’s published top ten, and some board history — the page says so directly rather than presenting sample data as real.
One email every Sunday: the heatmap across every sector, what moved, and why. Free.
An independent publisher running an automated data pipeline over public market data. It is not a fund, a broker, or a registered investment adviser.
Currently we do not. Everything is free while we work out whether the reports are good enough to be worth paying for. If that changes, it will be stated plainly rather than quietly.
Public market data — prices, volumes, published analyst ratings and price targets. Figures are recomputed on a schedule and stamped with the time they were generated.
No. No sponsored placements, no paid inclusion in any sector, board or report. A company appears because it fits the sector definition.
